The answer is "Yes" you can borrow including Stamp duty.
Westpac can lend maximum 95% of your property value.
Say for example, if your property value is $450k, you will only have $50k deposit, and if you have to pay stamp duty,
then your loan amount supposed to $400k, your LVR=$400k/$450*100%=88.89%
Because you require $15k Stamp duty, then your loan amount will increase from $400k to $415k, then your LVR will increase from 88.89% to 92.22%, which means that your Lender Mortgage Insurance will be more costly.
Thus, as long as you can meet Lender Mortgage Insurance Policy, then you can borrow money from the bank including your stamp duty. |
