He works from home for a solicitor firm in Petershem. At first I was worried as he don't work from office. He is liscensed and insured by that firm, but you need to go to his house as he is in wheelchair.
Guess if you are interested using him, give him a call to discuss. He is very friendly.

其实买房不一定要请律师吧， conveyancer就可以了。前者动则
1000左右，后者则可能要便宜一些。
我知道BURWOOD那个LOUICE LIN，服务蛮不错，包括所有的费用及GST，共收$880.00。
悉尼的TX买卖房屋千万不要找那个PARRAMATTA 的BOB CHAN，陈云翔，表面上态度特好，但就是一只笑面虎，只收钱不作事也作不好事，而且讲话没信用的，事先讲好收这么多，实际SETTLE的时候却多收好几百。

Apparently you can even do your own conveyancing, but better look for somebody experienced. Solicitors might be more expensive, but it's what they worth as they are lawyers. You don't have to be a lawyer if u r just conveyancer.
From my experience, I am really glad my solicitor work for me and I get the advice whenever I need it. One of my friend looked for big soliciotr's firm, he didn't even talked to his soliciotr, he talks to the secretary all the time.
Guess if everything is simple and nice, it doesn't matter much. But if things are complicated and owners are bitchy, you really need somebody expereinced by your side. For me, I will be happy to pay a bit more as long as things work out for me well.

How much does he charge?

He charge $800 (not including GST and fees to do the title search etc.) It will come out to be more than $1000 as he told me.
I am not worried about the fees as he is really good. You won't believe how bitchy the owner is and how I have to fight with her even regarding the settlement date. Everything is not yet confirmed, we haven't exchange yet, but I had a small victory in these fights.
I will definately wirte about my story when we finally get everything sorted, I learned so much from here :)

飞儿，为什么事先讲好收这么多，实际SETTLE的时候却多收好几百，有什么理由要多收几百？我们也快settle了，有什么办法对付他？

我一个亲戚让他多收了几百去了。但他应该不是每一个客户都多收的，可以主要是看某个客户好说话好期负就开刀的。总之小心点好，保留所有证据。他收了钱让他马上给收据，他有可能会不给的。
我们自己的经历是我LG卖投资房的时候他没有给CLEAR land tax, 只说是买家律师的责任，而且说地税局催交地税的信都不用理了，结果惹来好多麻烦，还要上法庭。
我们都有去http://www.lawlink.nsw.gov.au/olsc 投诉他，还可以去地方法庭告他。
总之这个律师整一个混球。特擅长    看着你的眼睛  真诚地  撒谎， 把别人当傻瓜！
