从global来看，澳洲的房产是肯定偏贵的。RBA较早前出了一个white paper,讨论澳洲的房产到底是bubble还是once-off revaluation，LZ可以去参考参考。澳洲房产贵是有原因的。

If old ones location is good. price should be much higher than brand new ones.
You are buying land value, not house itself, few years later, you can always knock down, rebuild or renovation.
Ask yourself a question, would you like to spend 1 hr a day or even more time a day on travel between work and home FOR THE REST OF YOUR WORKING LIFE?
If the answer is no, then you should know the answer why old houses are more expensive.
If the answer is yes,the reason central coast property price does not rise is the your guide.
