I think there are different types of yoga, I can't comment on all of them because I'm not very familiar with every kind.
As a physio I'd say stay away from end-range bending etc. If there's any increase in your symptoms better to stop. If you are seeing your physio still be sure to ask if there's any movement you shouldn't be doing.
My physio colleagues and myself don't usually send people with discs to yoga because we don't know what they will be doing. If it's mainly breathing relaxation it should be ok but it probably won't do much for your disc. I don't want my patients to touch their toes unless I'm convinced they can do it safely. Clinical pilates or water exercises may be more suitable for you in my opinion.
