本帖最后由 delllled 于 2014-7-5 17:28 编辑 It does't mean you were innocent after you checked the traffic on your right hand side. If you you were innocent, then who injured that cyclist. The rule on roundabout is not just give way to vehicles on your right hand side. Check the newest road rules. You need to slow down when approaching roundabout, and check both sides of you, give way to vehicles already on the roundabout. You claim of 'I have checked my right hand side' means you did not check your left hand side. So you definitely did not see the cyclist on your left, then you hit him when both two of you were on the roundabout.Clearly it was your fault, no doubt about it. The best you can do is to negotiate the remedy. It is not unusual for a carbon fibre road bike costs over $3000. Good luck on you. |
