For the lemon curd:
1. egg yolks 8 (save 6 of the whites for the cake)
2. caster sugar 1 cups
3. lemon zest 1/2 cup (我用了8个中等大小的柠檬)
4. lemon juice 2/3 cup (同样来自那8个柠檬)
5. salt 1 small pinch
6. unsalted butter 150g, chopped and softened
原方子还用了4个青柠的zest和juice,我家没有青柠,就省略了For the candied zest (optional):
1. lemon 4 medium
2. caster sugar 2 cups
3. water, 1 cup plus more if needed
原方子用的是3个柠檬3个青柠,我直接用了4个柠檬For the cake:
1. self rising flour 2 cups
2. baking powder 2 tsps
3. salt 1/2 tsp
4. caster sugar 1 1/2 cups
5. unsalted butter 150g
6. lemon zest 1tsp (from about 1 to 2 medium lemons)
7. whole milk 1/2 cup
8. egg whites 6
原方子加多一茶匙lime zest和一茶匙vanilla extract,我的习惯是一般加了柠檬汁的就不加香草精了For the frosting:
1. double cream 2 cups
2. caster sugar 1/4 cup
3. lemon juice 2 tsps
我把方子里的香草精替换成了柠檬汁,彻彻底底的柠檬蛋糕,好多维C有木有 |
