1. 5/July/2014 My dog Tank shows lameness and hip pain during the regular dog walking.
2. 5/July/2014 Tank was taken to Castle Hill Veterinary Hospital to exam the hip condition and I was informed the lameness may be caused by strain or dysplasia or other orthopaedic disease. Tank requires anaesthesia and X-ray check ASAP to detail diagnostic and eliminate the possible hip dysplasia.I was given Meloxicam for short team treatment.
3. 8/July/2014 I called Petplan, asking whether anaesthesia and X-rays will be covered. Petplan informed me the only decision will make after they received the claim form. However, if the anaesthesia and X-ray are parts of diagnostic of illness, then it should be covered.
4. 10/July/2014 Anaesthesia and X-rays for Tank was taken and Hip Laxity/early stage of hip dysplasia is confirmed by vet. I was told that JPS is one of the best option for the treatment. To be decide the necessity of the surgery, Tank was referred to Parr |
