Nod.
I called the agent to explain why I wasn't able to go to his office tonight. He still hope I could turn up tomorrow night. Here below is our simplified conversation.
Me "Could you let me know why you want me to your office?"
RE "to provide your full name and broker's details." This is odd.
ME "You mean, I need to bring my documents to you?"
RE "No, you don't need to bring them."
ME "Well, I can send them to you by email. Does it mean I don't necessarily need to go to your office in person?"
RE "No, you still need to come. I want to help you."
ME "For what?"
RE "to sign the document..."
Me "I need to clarify. I am not going to sign any documents before my conveyancer checks it..."
RE "No problem."
ME "Actually, you can email me the document and I will read through. If it's ok, we can arrange a time to meet up..."
RE "No, you need to come.Your offer is a bit lower. Can you raise it?"
ME "Eh. I have done some research. I believe my offer is reasonable..."
RE "Reasonal. If you want this house before the auction, I want to help you. You need to come to my office..."
I really didn't know why and had to end this conversation by "I'll keep in touch with you. Have a good one."
Now, I'm more confused. What does he exactly want? Can I send my fullname and lender's information to him as requested?
I may go to his office tomorrow evening, not for this business but I have been to that area, just a driving trip. :p |
