SA has different process. We don't have Xiaoding or Dading.
I may be too dubious. But this agent looks very dodgy. He didn't impress well on spot during inspection as well by avoiding my enquiries as to the house.

Does it mean this house will go to auction anyway, regardless of my offer prior or not? My understanding of "the document" here is only for registration of my interest.

I am so confused why he wants me to go to his office. It's such a long distance.
"You do not have to sign the document, you come in and I fill out for you then you bring to your solicitor to have a look at.
if you are not happy, you have 2 days to cool off.
So do not worry about that. This is Australia, not China.
I want to help you."
Does it mean my offer may be acceptable?  He knows I came here 5 years ago from China the other day.

If I don't have to sign it on the spot, then there's no reason why he can't e-mail it to me.
If they are determined to go to auction (and it sounds like they are) then I should request a copy of the contract for my conveyancer to check before the auction.
Also, 2-day cooling off does not apply if the property is sold at auction.

RE "to provide your full name and broker's details." This is odd.

ME "Well, I can send them to you by email. Does it mean I don't necessarily need to go to your office in person?"
RE "No, you still need to come. I want to help you."
ME "For what?"

RE "No problem."

ME "Eh. I have done some research. I believe my offer is reasonable..."
RE "Reasonal.If you want this house before the auction, I want to help you. You need to come to my office..."
I really didn't know why and had to end this conversation by "I'll keep in touch with you. Have a good one."
Now, I'm more confused. What does he exactly want? Can I send my fullname and lender's information to him as requested?
I may go to his office tomorrow evening, not for this business but I have been to that area, just a driving trip. :p
