The reason is vendor hopes buyer to keep tenants. Unbelieve. They are selling the property. How can they expect the next owner to do this? I should've lied that I could keep tenants. After I have the house, I will terminate the lease legally.

The agent initially told me of the tenancy issue, later, explained the other party's unconditional off. I think she made up the latter reason.
Anyway, I keep looking.

你不可能把住客赶走，有合同住到明年，你就要等到明年，如果他们不愿意搬
再加上你的subject to finance更不可能了
你要先想想能否等到明年搬进去，不然就move on
如果你现在买了也不能有stamp duty discount 40% （如果你是第一次买，必须按投资房交，比全额还要多2·3千
